Listening Party was designed to bring fans together through shared, real-time musical experiences with artists and peers.


This feature allowed users to listen simultaneously, chat live, and even join artist-hosted parties.


In this project, I led the overall UX architecture, Design, defined the MVP scope, and collaborated closely with developers and PMs to align fan engagement goals with platform feasibility.


I also facilitated the design iteration process using post-launch user data to refine feature visibility and interaction flow.

Our project explored the music market, particularly K-pop, to analyze the dynamics between fans, artists, and labels.

Key insight: Fans organize streaming events to boost chart performance, a trend growing beyond K-pop into American and Latin pop. However, smaller artists struggle to mobilize similar support.
